Wanting to install a adjustable timing plate, I see cast and cnc machined ones, are the cheaper cast ones accurate ? I REALLY DON`T want to smoke a motor over this ! Or is it just as good to slot a stock one and use a degree wheel, What I have in mind is +4 , .030 cut on the head, and I already have PC pipes, with 280 mains, no lid on the air box this runs good as is ,this is just a play ride no racer at all unless a 4 stroke wants to play ! Thanks , Milo_32000

MIlo...before you put more timing on it, I'd check your compression first.

I'd hate to see you put a timing plate on, do the work...spend the money, and then find out you need to run a mix of pump/race gas....

Just a thought.
