KingSpade Posted November 23, 2006 Report Posted November 23, 2006 Does anyone have any input on the trinity stage iv pipes? i am shopping for a banshee right now and am going to put either DMC 916's or the stage iv's on it but i have never heard what the trinity pipes sound like or what the performance difference would be between the 2. i will most likely be buying a stock bore unless i run into something else. any info would be very helpful, thanx! wesw Posted November 23, 2006 Report Posted November 23, 2006 RN BRAD RUNS those trinity pipes you can pm him or im sure he'll chime in. sisters husband runs those 916 they sound wicked and perform very well, more low to mid pipe, but pull to the top decent. best of luck Quote
smokin 2 stroke Posted November 23, 2006 Report Posted November 23, 2006 i run them here is a vid http://s47.photobucket.com/albums/f186/hdg...ephenriding.flv Quote
Hollister_Hitman Posted November 23, 2006 Report Posted November 23, 2006 I run the dmc 916 exhaust. If you buy it get it from motofrugals.com $525 shipped with spark arrestor (-$50 if you don't need the spark arrestor). It will make your bike sound like an F1 car. It hits really hard in the middle. Great buy. Fits great. Quote
4strokessuck Posted November 23, 2006 Report Posted November 23, 2006 DMC 916 for me baby!! Never saw a Shee with the Trinity exhaust but they make good stuff so either way I don't think you'll be disapointed. Good luck. <---------------------------- Quote
RNBRAD Posted November 24, 2006 Report Posted November 24, 2006 Not sure on the performance difference. I've never ridden a banshee with the dmc's. The Trinity's are more of a mid to top pipe, which are excellent for duning which is all I do. They do perform ok on the trail but my FMF fatties were a better pipe for trails. As far as sound, they sound really good, though they don't have such a high pitch wail. It's more of a lower pitch sound mainly due to the thicker walled expansion chambers which deadens most of the pinging sound off of them. Their quality really sets the standard for banshee pipes as well. Either way I'm sure you will be happy but If I had to spend 6 bills tomorrow on a set of pipes, I'd buy another pair. They also make a nice spark arrestor that mounts into the billet cone of the can. Really trick and doesn't look like a freakin bugle strapped to your tail pipe. Quote
KingSpade Posted December 4, 2006 Author Report Posted December 4, 2006 how about the CPI inframe small bore?? im really starting to take a liking to them, how well will those work out on a mostly stock motor? Quote
dajogejr Posted December 4, 2006 Report Posted December 4, 2006 how about the CPI inframe small bore?? im really starting to take a liking to them, how well will those work out on a mostly stock motor? You're better off with FMF, Trinity or Toomey T5 pipes on a stock port, CPIs will NOT make you happy... Quote
