nitroburner13 Posted November 10, 2006 Report Posted November 10, 2006 so i was putting my bros new cub cylinders on and i got everything but the clutch together today. the problem is that after i got everything together my bro proceeds to show me something called cheetah plug bodys. they appear are small allen head set screws. i have no idea where they go but im assuming that they where supposed to go on somewhere before the top end was assembled. can someone please tell me where they go and what they do without laughin too hard. thanks guys Quote
Lethaface Posted November 10, 2006 Report Posted November 10, 2006 Take the cylinders off ..When you do look at the bottom of the cylinders (like you were looking at the transfers) you will see where they go down by the exhaust flange.. Quote
badassbanshee479 Posted November 10, 2006 Report Posted November 10, 2006 only run them in till they are flush with the bottom of the cylinder. they can and will go all the way through the hole and they will be bouncing around in the coolant passage. just a heads up for ya. you got the stud extenders for the two lower case studs right? lowriderb Posted November 10, 2006 Report Posted November 10, 2006 they'll usually get tight before they go all the way through.. if you want to make sure they arent going to leak or anything you could us some sort of silicone or something on them as well..what they do is block the water jacket.. the last two cubs that ive had to put on also needed the stud extender stud holes on the cylidners opened up a little more as well..
