 i was thinking about buying a -2 swingarm and i was wondering if the stock one could be cut and welded back. my grandpa is a welder and has been for like 25 years, so if it can be done he could probably do it. i just dont want to do it if it wil weaken the metal and break.

its very simple to do. ive done tons of them with no jig and had no alignment issues. leave your carrier bolted on tight. cut the tabs off back at the cross piece. shorten and reweld. its a piece of cake. i can do one in about an hour.
