My shee leaks gas out of the left carb if the gas stays on. I have a moose rebuild kit but can't figure out how to remove the float. Or how do I remove the old needle/seat? Does it just snap off that rod that it is on? Or do I push the rod out of the side and then falls the float? I am confused on how to do this. Everything else has been cleaned and replaced except for this. Thanks.

The pin that the float uses for a hinge will slide out through the side. It can be stubborn. So can the needle. Just be carefull not to use too much force, or at least check your float height when your done.
