rear axel bent !

My rear axel is bent just a little, has anyone straighted one in a press ? Just a little out on the left side, does not effect handling just makes wheel wiggle a bit, this is a stock 02 axel, thanks , milo_32000

I tried in A press but didn't work good because it was bent on the end .so I put it in A vice & put A pipe over it at the bend & pulled on it (well me and my 350+ lb coworker) got it with in .005

& cant tell it was bent at all it worked real good just bend & check w/ dial indicator (sp) & repeat hope it helps.

If you do get it back....who is to say that you wont bend it again real soon. something about the metal weakening as your tweakin on it.

 

IMO.....stock axles only cost 50 bux on ebay. Go get another one. I went thru three stock axles before I went and got a LS axle used off ebay for 250. havent bent it yet. and if I do....LS will bend it back for me.
