This isn't exactly a banshee, nor an ATV for that matter...but my Yamaha TTR-125L is under suspicion. Lately, when decelerating my bike backfires pretty bad, but only when decelerating. When accelerating it's completely fine...but the second I let off the throttle hear come the backfires.

 

Any help?

If it's a 2 stroke, check your reeds

when a 4 stroke backfires that means its overloading with fuel thus

 

meaning valves maby your vlave need 2 be adjusted
