I always liked the sand shark and sand shark II's they did ok for me until I got my 4mil then I could never hook up with them. They just spin like a mofo with this much power.

I've never heard of AMS and I think the guy above is talking about Sand Skates rather than Sharks.

Sand Tires Unlimited and ITP are both quality brands. Skat Traks are great but their "V" paddle sucks. "The Edge".

If Price is a factor, Sand Sharks are sturdy and very inexpensive.

I have always run Sand Skate IIs

The sand sharks are cheap and durable, but if it were up to me, I'd wait and spend a little more money on some really good tires. In my experience, sand sharks don't hook up for shit.

Sand skates work really good. Sand stars that i ran cracked really quick on lightly packed sand but ran great in the soft glamis sand. Gechos are sand star knock-offs or vice versa?

By the way, the best v-paddle i've tried on my bike is the buffed skat trac. Light tire and hooks up really good when duning.

If I were you I would stay away from AMS, I've never ridden them but they're heavy as hell. Plus being a small company they probly have a few bugs to work out of them. I would just save up some more like they were saying and get something better.

Go with the STU Sand Skates for a V paddle tire. If you want to spend a little more, get them comp cut. Fullerton Sand Sports hooked me up big! Dave's a great guy, he'll set you right! Just my .02
