FMS50 Posted July 6, 2006 Report Posted July 6, 2006 I am wondering why when I launch my Banshee at high RPM's it wont shift at first until the RPM's come down. For instance if I launch in second gear it wont go into third until the RPM's come down and after that it goes into the rest of the gears fine. I Have a new Raptor and I noticed it does the same thing so I doubt there's anything wrong with it but I just want to know it there's a way to get rid of that because it really sucks to get beat by a slower bike because i cant shift mine. And also whats an Override transmission ? Quote
racer Posted July 6, 2006 Report Posted July 6, 2006 youre clutch is probably out of adjustment. try fooling with the cable at the lever, and also with the adjuster bolt on the clutch hub. an override is a tranny cut so that you dont have to clutch when you shift. Quote
