Rustbag Posted June 24, 2006 Report Posted June 24, 2006 Hey guys, I got this 3 wheeler recently and it didn't run. I rebuilt the top end and put a cobra exhaust pipe on cuz the old stocker has a big hole in the silencer. It has a Keihin carb on it. i moved the main jet from a 95 to a 100. To get it to run decent I've got the air mixture screw all the way in and the idle screw all the way in and it runs best that way. By best I mean it doesn't pop(leanish). If I back the air screw out it pops thru the rpms. I can't get this thing to idle. Was thinking maybe I need a bigger air jet or something. PLEASE HELP. Thanx Quote
bansheeseat$$ Posted June 24, 2006 Report Posted June 24, 2006 (edited) I found your problem,It will never idle its only got one cylinder.Just playing..Find out what pilot jet is in it and raise the size by two and go from there.Ideall spot for air screw is 1 and a 1/2 turns out. Edited June 24, 2006 by bansheeseat$$ Quote
