peterlocal22 Posted June 13, 2006 Report Posted June 13, 2006 whats up everyone. I just bought some m5 msr rideing boots. they seemed pretty cool in the store. However my first question is should i go with the pair that felt a little big or the pair that felt just a little too tight? second question, i sat on my banshee which has nerf bars and tried to go for a quick ride. man its real tuff to get my foot under the shifter. is my whole toe suppose to fit under ther or just the metal lip if the boot? probably a stupid question but i would appreciate any help with some one who knows what im talking about. thanks Quote
steveodo Posted June 13, 2006 Report Posted June 13, 2006 yea on the boots i'd go big an for the shifter I'd raise it up a notch. [Take the shifter off an put it up higher] Quote
Gargamel Posted June 13, 2006 Report Posted June 13, 2006 I'd go with the ones a little big, because if you try them on with mx socks I bet they'll fit good. On the shifter, you have to raise the lever up a little cause the boots are bigger then shoes. Quote
peterlocal22 Posted June 13, 2006 Author Report Posted June 13, 2006 sounds good. i didnt even know you can adjust your shifter. ive only had the she for not even a year and im still getting familiar with it. thanks everyone. Quote
trueraiderfan Posted June 13, 2006 Report Posted June 13, 2006 They are all the same pretty much as far as adjusting the shift lever. Its just kinda a biach to get it off the splines thats the hard part and . When you do it thought it will shift just fine had to do that to my z and in 3 weeks im sure i'll have to do it to my shee. But when u do that it makes it real hard to shift when u have shoes on so u will probably always rife with boots on after that. Quote
MILO Posted June 13, 2006 Report Posted June 13, 2006 yeah, it takes a while to get used to shifting with the boots on and the shifter moved up. i missed a few shifts here and there for a while but like anything else, you'll adapt and get over it. as far as the sizing, i think slightly big is better than too small and cramped.
