cudaz101 Posted May 1, 2006 Report Posted May 1, 2006 So a friend of mine got this lil POS buggy that some college students hacked together several years ago. He paid ZERO for the buggy so regardless he could not really lose... Since, he has put some monster rubber on it, all new wiring, Sheetmetal paneling 'compliments of the State HWY Dept., head porting, Turbo, homemade wing and some other unmentionalbes...I think he did a pretty good job keeping the budget to damn near nothing and ending up with a decent lil buggy. I went for the test ride in this thing when he got the turbo on it...I was dead impressed with how it lunged when the turbo spooled...WOW...heh Here are some pics...Its still a work in progress. The turbo is not setup perfect but it works. He used an old air cleaner for a boost top and anyone could guess what happened to that...haha...Infact I mentioned that there was no way in hell that it was going to live through any kind of boost and sure enough it blew a big hole in it on the test run...haha Brad Quote

It steers fine and handles better than you would think with the susp. that is in place. 60mph through some smi-rough terrain is not too bad...Jumping it off eyebrows is interesting though...heh Brad Quote

tithead Posted May 2, 2006 Report Posted May 2, 2006 is there hydraulic braking on that? for some reason i have heard of people using hydraulic set ups becasue the stock wire cable breaks easy under preasure. buggy looks mean! Quote
KlotzBanshee Posted May 2, 2006 Report Posted May 2, 2006 Looks pretty sweet man! Love the avatar, quite a view. Quote
cudaz101 Posted May 2, 2006 Author Report Posted May 2, 2006 Its alot more stuntable now with the Turbo but its far from well setup Rail... Tit...It has the stock brake setup and it seems to work pretty well...The brakes however don't get used ALOT...haha...But yea, the next thing to go in it is independent wheel brakes for steer braking. And yea...Its a helluvuh view in the avatar... Brad Quote

Its great for the pea fields right now though...haha The guy is all about keeping this thing on a super low budget but it could turn into something else. Brad Quote
