Ported Stock Reed Cages

What do you guys think about porting stock cages? Where do you take off material? These are the ones I've been playing with. I was planning on just getting vforces but these are starting to look decent. What do ya think?

thats pretty good work

you can take alot more off than that in the midlle i have fmf reed cages that have been ported and the midlle piece is alot thinner, its just like a knife but you need to change the reeds on top because the stock ones wont seal right ,get some tdr because there is only on big flap not two little flaps like the stock ones so you can dremel alot more of the middle . if you have any questions just send me a message

you can dremel off all whats inside the red squares with tdr reeds

yea, just got mine done, used new stock reeds afterwords, The porting looks similar to what you have. They seem to work nice with the cylinder porting.

my opinion is yo u guys are wasting your time ,jus t get delta vforce and be done with it ,they are pricey i know ,but there is really no replacment

Looks good. You should clean them up as much as you can and make sure every surface is polished. You should feel the difference if you replace the stock pedals with some boysen or vito's.
