You need to use the flywheel puller to take the flywheel off. To take the flywheel off, remove the center bolt. Thread on the big part of the puller ALL THE WAY IN. Then spin it off with a impact gun.

 

Once that is removed you need to remove the stator. You will see 3 screws holding it one, plus a couple smalle ones that hold the wires in place. Once it is out of the way there are another three bolts that hold the stock stator in place. Remove it and install the new one.

 

The tic marks on the timing need to line up with the split in the case (white line). Then tighten it up and reinstall the stator. Put the fly wheel on and crank it down.

 

All done.
