NYUK Posted April 22, 2006 Report Posted April 22, 2006 c12 or c16 is good enough if you can afford it. you will have to be pretty good at jetting to keep from smoking pistons.i would steer clear of oxy fuels. Quote

rocketboy Posted April 22, 2006 Report Posted April 22, 2006 av gas has oxygen and lead (2 stroke engines love these 2 things) and it works just fine and totally reliable and a nice relief fro m paying 7$+ a gallon for race gas Quote
CowboyBanshee Posted April 23, 2006 Report Posted April 23, 2006 av gas is not good for use in automotive applications due to the fact it burns a little cooler and can cause piston shrink and skirts to break Quote

Ive done research till I was sick of it, and av gas is not bad for your engine. It doesn't burn any hotter or cooler than any other gas. Rocketboy, how much do you pay for 100LL? They just had to raise the price here from 4.15 to 4.40. Edited April 23, 2006 by dawarriorman Quote
