chris642 Posted April 16, 2006 Report Posted April 16, 2006 where is this hole, i am confused. Are you talking about the hole that the needle rests in that goes all the way into the bowl or are you talking about the hole in the bottom of the slide. Sounds to me like you need to buy a manual. Quote
yamahakid1 Posted April 16, 2006 Author Report Posted April 16, 2006 now ive got the manuel but for some reason it doesnt say. ok so lets say youve got the slide, you drop the needle in, then you put the slide back in the carb, you put the 2 tiny screws in to hold that thing that holds the throttle cable, that thing either covers the hole on the slide or it doesnt does anyone understand? bansheeseat$$ Posted April 16, 2006 Report Posted April 16, 2006 Install the cover so the holes are open. The holes are a vent for the slides so they wont stay open. Quote
Wicked98Shee Posted April 16, 2006 Report Posted April 16, 2006 (edited) i believe your talking about that lil pin hole that's offset .... hmmm i dunno, mine are covered ... i dont see how a a slide can stay open unless its stuck, both ends of the carbs are open and the motor is creating a vacume through the intakes. so plz explain bansheeseat$$, ya got my curiousity goin now Edited April 16, 2006 by Wicked98Shee Quote
