cdwood37 Posted April 15, 2006 Report Posted April 15, 2006 Ok I know this has probably been gone over but its just a question. I just started my new 421 cub last night and let it warm all the way up and noticed the left pipe wasn't near as hot as the right it would get pretty warm but not as warm the cylinder seems to be firing but i am not sure, i have 35mm pwk airstrykers could i be to lean or rich on one side? cdwood37 Posted April 16, 2006 Author Report Posted April 16, 2006 how do i go about carb syncing them better? Quote
chris642 Posted April 16, 2006 Report Posted April 16, 2006 either buy a carb syncing tool, jeff at FAST racing on here sells them, or try to eye it out best as possible. take off your filter and see if the slides are opening together. Say the right one opens first and the left one is lagging. Unscrew the nut on the adjuster on the left carb top and turn it counter clock wise and see if it helps them open together. Eyeing it out is annoying and it will take a little while to get perfect, i just did mine today. Quote
wesw Posted April 16, 2006 Report Posted April 16, 2006 how do i go about carb syncing them better? 502701[/snapback] you got your motor from jeff. im sure he will sell you that tool he has. its a nice one. just hard to use meaning when your trying to sync both carbs together not off idle, you need another person to raise and HOLD THE THROTTLE STILL. its hard to do by ones self. back and forth but worth it.
