LeadBoots Posted March 18, 2006 Report Posted March 18, 2006 ok i now have a nice white spark but its not getting gas all the time. when i poor gas into the spark plug hole it will fire rev up and then die. then it wont start again until u put more gas in. what is wrong? Quote
trex banshee Posted March 19, 2006 Report Posted March 19, 2006 it could be a couple things first i would take your fuel valve out of the tank and clean the screens then i would clean your carbs and all the jets.this is just simple stuff, but it could be more have you had it running lately like it should? or is this a bike you just got that you have never had running? LeadBoots Posted March 19, 2006 Author Report Posted March 19, 2006 (edited) i really havent worked on carbs before so im not quite sure on how to do everything. i will look at the mains and pilots in the morning. yes the choke tube is hooked up and no i didnt take the carbs apart. and i didnt look at the screen but the petcock is working great. gas is getting to to carbs.
