black02banshee Posted February 26, 2006 Report Posted February 26, 2006 i have an 02 banshee and how do i know when its time for a rebuild i ride the bike hard and its hasnt been rebuilt yet i bought it brand new. mods are cool head,t5s,pro flow filter,vforce reeds. is there a place where i can order a rebuild kit?? if so where and about how much money is it?? also are there any other mods i shall do while freshening up the motor??? thanks everyone Quote
FasterThanU90 Posted February 26, 2006 Report Posted February 26, 2006 U can buy Wiseco Kits off ebay around 120-150 has everything u need u can go out and buy a compression guage that u use once in a while most of the time its easy to tell by how much pressure u have when u kick it over or how easy it is too start if ur compression is REALLY Low u can put it in first and try to push it if it rolls rebuild time Quote
Too Many Toys Posted February 26, 2006 Report Posted February 26, 2006 (edited) Exactly what he said. Check the compression and see where you stand. That should give you a good idea. The only thing I can think of that you could do is maybe have it ported while you have the top end off. Other than that it sounds like you are in good shape.
