WALLACE84 Posted February 23, 2006 Report Posted February 23, 2006 (edited) I just got done droping my motor off to a guy I know who builds badass motors for a living.(advanced racing technologies in saginaw,mi) I know the guy personally and he is doing the motor pretty cheap. One thing he said to me was that it would be a good idea to switch back to dual carbs since I dont race motocross on quads. I kinda like the 2-1 carb (easy maintence) but if Im gonna get more power with the duals then Im goning to switch back. I already have the stock 26mm carbs for im looking for the rest of the setup or whatever else you got let me know. Thanks Dan Edited February 25, 2006 by WALLACE84 Quote
4everwantedbanshee Posted February 24, 2006 Report Posted February 24, 2006 are u selling the 2 into 1 carb Quote
WALLACE84 Posted February 24, 2006 Author Report Posted February 24, 2006 I will have to talk to my engine builder and see what he says for sure. The carb tho is a 38mm Keihin pwk. Also it needs a new throttle cable. Quote
Wallrat Posted February 25, 2006 Report Posted February 25, 2006 If you're building a drag bike I'd say go back to duals. Anything else and you should keep the single. You won't lose as much top end as you would with the more common 35mm singles, but you will lose some. Quote
