QuAdRaCeR^775 Posted February 11, 2006 Report Posted February 11, 2006 Ok, I usually dont post here do to the amount of *****gots / *****s who talk shit on this site, but I have a problem. I put a new topend in my bike and didnt mess with the carbs at all. The right carb pours fuel out as soon as I turn on the petcock. Ive replaced the needle valve, and the float isn't sticking or anything. I've cleaned it out multiple times and it still pours fuel out everywhere. What could be the problem? Quote
810darren Posted February 11, 2006 Report Posted February 11, 2006 did you check the float bowl drain screw to make sure it is tight you probably did.if the float is not sticking and the carb gasket is good there should be no other reason.did you notice were it is coming from you didnt say. Quote
fastbanshee8 Posted February 11, 2006 Report Posted February 11, 2006 It has to be one of the following problems, 1.) sticking float, or 2.) a bad needle and seat above the float, or 3.) float level set to high. These are the only things that cause fuel to pour out the overflow tubes. Quote
QuAdRaCeR^775 Posted February 11, 2006 Author Report Posted February 11, 2006 It's coming out the left and right top overflow hoses. Quote
banshee tuner Posted February 12, 2006 Report Posted February 12, 2006 Probably the float sticking. Quote
