Sounds to me like you have more problems than just overheating if you have oil in your coolant. Probably an impeller seal or something. Edited February 3, 2006 by BigRed350x Quote
Bansheeduner02 Posted February 3, 2006 Report Posted February 3, 2006 So it seized Up On u?? Thats Sounds Like it Melted The Sleeves To the pistons. the only way i can think of that got oil in the cooling system is that u blew either cylinder or the head gaskets and it forced oil into the cooling system. Good luck what i would do is get my sleeves bored and honed then get new gaskets and put a little bit of sylicone or gasket sealer on them when u install and dont over tighten the stud nuts before the sealer has time to set up. FIRST BANSHEE Posted February 4, 2006 Report Posted February 4, 2006 crank case oil it mixed in with my coolant so it over heated and boom!! 468204[/snapback] when you say crankcase oil, I aasume your talking about your premix gas and oil. only way I can see that getting into your coolant is through a cracked cylinderor bad head gasket. If your talking about trans oil, I'd check your impeller seal and impeller like 350 X said. bansheeman1974 Posted February 4, 2006 Author Report Posted February 4, 2006 Thanks it is not the premix it is the crank case oil, i won a billit water pump and easy drain pump cover of ebay so i will fix that, hope it works i had some bike shop tell me it was my seal for my cases, but as i was looking the cooling sistem is in closed so the only way it could get in there like that is there is a bad oring or gasket in the side case well thanks for you guys help.
