bigboybanshee Posted December 29, 2005 Report Posted December 29, 2005 If the carbs are stock then they are 26's. What is your elevation where you/your mate ride? When you said twin air filter, what do you mean? If you don't ride in any mud or water, then I would ditch the airbox lid at least, or have him switch to two pod filters mounted directly to the carbs. If you do ride in some nasty conditions, cut 1.5 inches off the back of the airbox lid and you'll be able to gain more air, and protect the filter from "most" of the elements Quote

2003LimitedBanshee Posted January 2, 2006 Report Posted January 2, 2006 (edited) I'm sure he is talking about 5 degrees C, based on his elevation being at 300m. We're about the only country left that still uses degrees F, and ft to measure elevation. So if my math is right he is about 41 degrees F. And have to agree, unless somebody has swapped those carbs, he should have 26's. edit: Oh yeah and about 1000' elevation more or less. Edited January 2, 2006 by 2003LimitedBanshee Quote
