banshee tuner Posted December 26, 2005 Report Posted December 26, 2005 Who makes the front lowering kits that is a cross bracket instead of individual brackets like the durablue. I've seen this on a raptor and it is much stronger than the normal kits which put a lot of stress on the frame shock mounts. Quote
fast87 Posted December 26, 2005 Report Posted December 26, 2005 do you mean a sway bar?? loom eup and decide if that's what u mean..with a sway bar you also need to run shocks FYI ~Mark~ Quote
banshee tuner Posted December 26, 2005 Author Report Posted December 26, 2005 Definately not a sway bar, this is a bracket that goes across the front under the hood and connects to both upper shock mounts and has new shock mounts higher up to lower the shee. Quote

ssjgoku419 Posted December 26, 2005 Report Posted December 26, 2005 I've been flat track racing for a long time and believe me u dont want that top mount durablue lowering kit.what u want is the one that takes the shock at the bottom and moves it out. the durablue one moves it at the top and u end up with a shock that is straight up and down. totally mess's with the cornering abilty in a negative way. Here i s the link to what u want. http://www.crjperformance.com/frloki.html Quote
ssanddemon Posted December 27, 2005 Report Posted December 27, 2005 I have the CRJs. They are real nice billet pieces, strong as hell. They do make the shock stand up a bit straighter which shortens stroke somewhat, but it's not significant. Overall a good mod, they improve stability a lot. Quote
banshee tuner Posted December 27, 2005 Author Report Posted December 27, 2005 Looks like I will give crj a try. Quote
