Hilarious Posted December 17, 2005 Report Posted December 17, 2005 Banshee~, how exazctically did your bike run before, when you had the stock needles? You said you had a flat spot. Now that you mentioned that, I have somewhat of a flat spot right before the powerband. I have moved my needles around and it runs best in the middle position but I still have a small bit of a flat spot. I just figured that it was the nature of the pipes. If you said they helped you out, I think I will get a set and try em out. Im still schooling myself on this banshee. Quote
midnite Posted December 17, 2005 Report Posted December 17, 2005 Dude, you can simply order richer mikuni needles from a yamaha dealer for cheap. Just give them the # on your needles, and tell them you want 1 size richer needles. No need to pay $70 for 2 richer dynojet needles, and 2 sizes of main jets. I've also herd it's not wise to mix dyno jet needles and mikuni mains, or mikuni needles and dyno jet mains. Quote
