ElDiablo52 Posted December 1, 2005 Report Posted December 1, 2005 So which tires are the best for some trail riding, play MX, and maybe even some recretional flat track racing and quite possibly dune riding...basically a tire that is good for all around sport riding. Quote
northshore Posted December 1, 2005 Report Posted December 1, 2005 i have a set of holeshot xct and like them alot, they grip well on trails, and track riding, but never rode them in the sand. just my .02 Quote
brilei5 Posted December 1, 2005 Report Posted December 1, 2005 Holeshot XCR fronts. very tough tire and great handling. XCT are rounder and taller than the XCR. I own both on two diferent quads. The only way I would go XCT over XCR is for a little more ground clearance. MY .02. Quote
ElDiablo52 Posted December 3, 2005 Author Report Posted December 3, 2005 Well doesnt the XCR also have the angle outside knobs like the MXR fronts? What about Razr 2s and kenda klaws Quote
fastbanshee8 Posted December 3, 2005 Report Posted December 3, 2005 I put a set of the Kenda Klaws on the front of my Shee, and they work great. For the price, you can't beat them, IMHO. Dirt tires usually don't work real good in the sand, because they are designed to dig in. A front sand tire, on the other hand, floats on top of the sand. Quote
