97shee Posted November 20, 2005 Report Posted November 20, 2005 i have a 97 shee. i need a new clutch and was told a street bike clutch is what i need. what kind og street bike clutch will work and where do i get it Quote
blueshee03 Posted November 20, 2005 Report Posted November 20, 2005 if your shee is pretty much stock i'd just go with a barnett carbon fiber or dirt digger clutch .if you have a more powerful modded motor go with fzr600 clutches. Quote
odaen Posted November 21, 2005 Report Posted November 21, 2005 save your money. just get a tusk clutch from RMATV and get the ones with the HD springs. run all 6 or alternate them with your stock ones. Worked fine for my 80HP 4mm. Still running that clutch in my 4mm cub. I'll see how it holds up, but will be going to a lockup next summer to help it out. Quote
odaen Posted November 21, 2005 Report Posted November 21, 2005 one more thing, you can PM rocketboy on here. he'll tell you what to buy if you want the beefier street bike clutch setup. think he told me it runs about $50. Quote
rocketboy Posted November 21, 2005 Report Posted November 21, 2005 sort of ...51$ for the FZR1000 fibers ,then yo u use your stock steel plates and get 3 HD springs for 3$ a piece Quote
