sjs Posted October 28, 2005 Report Posted October 28, 2005 I am hoping to start the shee tomorrow after rebuild just a few questions, i stripped out the wiring harness and i think maybe the blue wire was disconnected from the voltage regulator and the two earth cables were broken off at the regulator bolt do these need to be connected if i'm running with no lights or ignition key etc? as they've been removed, will it matter if they are now connected as i've taped up the whole harness now, i just wanna know if it will cause any problems, also where do u route the breather pipes that come out of the cluch case where they come off at the T- piece. Thanks STEVE Quote
fast500#12 Posted October 28, 2005 Report Posted October 28, 2005 i don't see any problems with your electical set up just make sure that you have a good groundon the harness(no ground no spark). all the voltage regulator does is keep your lights from blowing out when you rev. as far as the breather hose i ran mine under the aft engine mount and then between the frame and swingarm. the blue wire does go to the voltage regulator. godd luck banshee electics can be a pain in the ass.
