Dead Op Posted October 2, 2005 Author Report Posted October 2, 2005 What I am trying to say is how can i pull so good with a 16 tooth sproket right out of the hole! Quote
BigRed350x Posted October 2, 2005 Report Posted October 2, 2005 No, I think what you are saying is that you have no idea what's done to your bike. Quote
fast87 Posted October 2, 2005 Report Posted October 2, 2005 with a 16 you probably have to start in 1st gear out of the hole, with my 14 i can start in second gear, like most everybody else on the HQ,,,good luck and by all means find out what's been done to that engine, the more you know the better off you'll be and the smarter you'll look when the guy you just beat asks you what you got into that beast, good luck ~Mark~ Quote
Dead Op Posted October 3, 2005 Author Report Posted October 3, 2005 Lol I bought the bike last year... I dunno man what else is done to it, I took a break froim the computer for a tid bit and I havet posted in a while... the only other thing i can say is it is ported.... Quote

I usually start out in 1st gear, with my 13 tooth front sprocket. Granted if you line up against someone of exact equal skill, if you have to shift more you're gonna lose, no question. Lol I bought the bike last year... A good port job is going to help you make a significant amount more power, and help you to pull that taller gear. Also, do try and find out what all has been done to your bike. Makes you more knowledgable about what you could do for more power, and gives you more credibility. Quote
Dead Op Posted October 3, 2005 Author Report Posted October 3, 2005 PAVEMENT sometimes dirt.... Quote
PUSH THE THROTTLE Posted October 3, 2005 Report Posted October 3, 2005 PAVEMENT sometimes dirt.... 422292[/snapback] On pavement you should always have a good holeshot. On dirt the gearing you are running will help to eliminate spin. I bet you'd get smoked if you ran a 13-14 on dirt, you'd be a spinning fool. Quote
Dead Op Posted October 3, 2005 Author Report Posted October 3, 2005 Well no really lol, I am redoing my bike this winter and i plan on droppin to a 15 up front... Quote
