Dinner Posted September 30, 2005 Report Posted September 30, 2005 Hey guys...I have an 87 shee, hasnt been running right for a week or so...and im new to the banshee's so i took it in to a shop......the right side was mis-firing before i took it in, thats the reason i took it in....and i was talking to the mechanic today and he said it has to do with the electrical...and i was reading all about the TORS, and one post i read was that if you dont have these certain five things unplugged/disconnected...it can mess up your spark....the TORS are gone, wires cut from ignition, black box is still under gas tank..plugs that went into TORS are still there...and im not sure if the parking brake wires are gone...so i was wondering if i should cut the useless plugs that went to the TORS, and just tape them up, tape the throttle wires up, and remove the black box?...or could moisture got into the wires and thats why its not firing right...all help is greatly appreciated..thanks Quote
[email protected] Posted September 30, 2005 Report Posted September 30, 2005 remove tors box ( the thing next to the coil ) , unplug the throttle clicker switch thingy , unplug ure carb junk's . and RIP IT . Quote
Dinner Posted September 30, 2005 Author Report Posted September 30, 2005 I'm pretty sure the only thing left is the black box under the tank, because everything is off of the carb, and the wires leading to the throttle that im guessing are for the clicky thing are cut, and where is the wire that leads to the parking brake?
