FOXBANSHEE30 Posted September 3, 2005 Report Posted September 3, 2005 I just got my new stator and it said something about an air gap. Whats the deal with that? Do i have to mark where my flywheel was sitting before i take it off? Thanks for the help. MEADOWS. Quote
BdBanshee Posted September 4, 2005 Report Posted September 4, 2005 They are talking about the gap between the pulse coil and the pulse triggers on the flywheel. Yamaha book says .020". If it is off, loosen the two screws holding it to the timing plate and adjust. I recommend blue locktite on those! Quote
