I have an older KX 80 and can't pin point the year and of course the parts canged almost every year on this bike so it's hard to buy the right part for it if you don't know the exact year. I have the VIN # off it if anyone knows how to read these it would greatly be appreciated. I am building this for my daughters next bike and we are excited to get started on it.

VIN # JKAKXWE19FA018048

Thanks,

Joe

i searched the topic on google and this is what i found

"Check the 10th spot on the VIN#. it will be a letter. Call you local Kawi shop, and the parts guy will be able to tell you what year your bike is."
