bansheeboy98 Posted August 20, 2005 Report Posted August 20, 2005 While Riding my Shee today I heard a weird noise. Hard to explain but kind of like a loud clicking like sticking something in a running fan. I shut it down. Then started it back up and had no noise at all. I rode it back to the garage let it idle and revved it with no noise. Didn't really sound like major motor damage top or bottom end but it was something serious. What does water pump impeller damage sound like. Any Ideas? THANKS Quote
Holyman Posted August 21, 2005 Report Posted August 21, 2005 It's hard to diagnose noises over the web but if you suspect the water pump, pull the cover off and check it out. Quote
98bonerSTOCKshee Posted August 21, 2005 Report Posted August 21, 2005 when my shee went this last time it got a clicky noise I shut down instantly. it was the ring tapping the exhaust port as it passed by and still running strong.... boy was it nasty looking. Quote
bansheeboy98 Posted August 21, 2005 Author Report Posted August 21, 2005 I checked everything I could today. Then started it up and had no noise but it wouldnt idle, turns out it was low of fuel. Any possibility running low of fuel could cause a noise like that. I know it sounds retarted but I'm new with these animals. I can build a Chevy 350 in the dark, rebuild a fourstroke bike and tune my YZ dirt bike but this Banshee is new territory. Thanks Quote
