superman0440 Posted August 10, 2005 Report Posted August 10, 2005 FOR SOME REASON ON MY BANSHEE I CANT KICK IT WHEN ITS COLD BUT WHEN I PUSH IT AND POP THE CLUTCH IS STARTS RITE UP THEN I LET IT WARM UP AND I CAN TURN IT OFF AND KICK THEN IT STARTS RITE UP, WHATS THE PROBLEM??????? Quote
Cannon Posted August 10, 2005 Report Posted August 10, 2005 superman0440, Try kicking it over 3 or 4 times with the switch off, choke pulled out. Then turn your swich on, kick it over a few times. Mines acts that way sometimes, seems to work well for me. Quote
it's stolen Posted August 10, 2005 Report Posted August 10, 2005 do a compression test. mine does that when its time for a rebuild Quote
sheefreak Posted August 10, 2005 Report Posted August 10, 2005 Need to check your compression. If it is low, your bike will start hard when cold, then start fine when everything heats up and expands. Also possible that if you have cleaned the carbs lately, you put the float bowls back on the wrong carbs. Then your choke wouldn't work properly, and might take 10-15 kicks to get it to fire. Quote
switchblade Posted August 10, 2005 Report Posted August 10, 2005 My guess would be compression. Do a test Quote
