biggun6ss Posted July 20, 2005 Report Posted July 20, 2005 I have a shee with a shaved head (.030), toomey t6, and I cut some holes in the air box. I am around 3200 feet above sea level. Around what size jets should I run? Also, a friend of mine has a shee with FMF Fatty's and the same air box mod. What jets should he use? Quote
Banshee~ Posted July 20, 2005 Report Posted July 20, 2005 Im thinking a 300 main with 27.5 pilot for both of you. The shaved head does not effect your jetting, but may make you have to run a higher octane. Quote
biggun6ss Posted July 20, 2005 Author Report Posted July 20, 2005 Ill try some 300 tonight and ride tomorrow. Ill prolly do a plug chop to see the changes between the two. Quote
9603banshee Posted July 22, 2005 Report Posted July 22, 2005 270-280 mains with k&n needles, or toomey needles on the 4th clip down, and 27.5 pilots with 2 turns out on air screw is exact....mark my word....laters Quote
biggun6ss Posted July 22, 2005 Author Report Posted July 22, 2005 How do youknow it will be so exact? Quote
wesw Posted July 22, 2005 Report Posted July 22, 2005 stock pilots, 4th clip and 270- 290 mains i would just pull off the lid and run a good plate filter system. Quote
