kw04 Posted July 16, 2005 Report Posted July 16, 2005 start with pipes air filter reeds. after that yo uwill want more and more. Quote
crbanshee Posted July 17, 2005 Report Posted July 17, 2005 cheap and banshee mods are two words that dont ever seem to be found together...as far as doing stuff to the shee i perfer to do the mods that i feel like are the most needed for the types of riding you do...for example im getting into desert racing and my first choice to do was suspension.(you can only go as fast as the bike will handle) then i got pipes reeds jetting and the k&n filter.and im going from there, next im getting a 5.6 gallon tank, then bead locks, then im going to dive into the motor..but i would say look at the riding you are going to be doing the most and build the bike in order to suit you. what ever you feel like you need most to help your riding area and style then start there Quote
Thoughtshewas18 Posted July 19, 2005 Report Posted July 19, 2005 From what I heard theres a few ways to go about it... Ive only had mine for a month now and I bought so far .... Vforce reeds Lightened the flywheel Advanced the timing Rocket pipes on the way soon K&N air filters I havent really installed them yet but this is the usual setup people start with. After this youll probably wanna get more serious with a bore and stuff like that. As you mod it more youll realize things dont get cheaper lol Quote

That's honestly the best thing to do; there are so many different types of riding that benefit from different mods, you should really figure out what type of riding you will do most and set it up for that. PUSH THE THROTTLE Posted July 19, 2005 Report Posted July 19, 2005 Welcome to the HQ My advice is to ride it how it is for awhile. Get used to it and you Quote
Wallrat Posted July 19, 2005 Report Posted July 19, 2005 Well we know where the shee is lacking. Pipes, filter, and suspension should be #1 on everyone's hitlist...regardless of riding style. Course that's alot of green to upgrade. Still though, you do need to have an idea of what kinda riding you do. Give us some more info and maybe we can point you in a direction. Quote
