well , ive been talkin to this guy for about a week , and its a pretty much sealed deal i reckon , its a 1989 zuki quadzilla , heres a copy of the pm from him that has the mods and such

no current pictures, but here is a small list of what i have on it.

1989 LT500R

CT race pipe

V-Force 3 reed cage and reeds

40mm PWK race carb

Nerf bars

all new bushings

new flame seat cover

have a spare set of all black plastics

have a spare FMF pipe setup

Stock carb goes with it

Stock reed cage goes with it

spare parts all go with it

whatcha guys think??? i think it should be pretty fun to have , prolly wont get out of 3rd gear , but at least ill have somethin fast! picture.JPG Edited by MudSlinger09

YIKES lol , theres still 1 other bike i could get for sure , its a 2001 yamaha yz250f , and theres one guy who said hed trade a 98 shee for my wheeler but he hasnt been answerin his pm`s or nothin

they vibrate a lot because they are a single cylinder 500.....what do you expect.

 

They are quick as shit, and sound incredibly mean........when they run.

 

They like to come apart, but thats what you get when you have a crazy ass engine in a 4wheeler built by suzuki

 

Oh yeah.....expect to pay an arm and a leg for parts when it breaks

im still debatin on just gettin the yz125 at the local wheeler store here , or a yz250f .... :confused:

125 all the way, the 250's have good power for racing, but they arnt as fun as the 125's. the 250's are expensive to keep and maintainan, too.

Man go fer four wheels, not two.

 

The 89 zilla already has the better head. The 87 was the bad year. I'd pull the mag cover and check for play. If there is any, probably going to need the bottom end looked into. Zillas are notorious for hurting the mag side crank bearing.

If theres no play you should be good to go. I've owned two of them and had no problems w/either. They just need attention like any other quad. As far a feeling like a tank, They are bigger, but very stable. I'd love to have another one sitting around to play with. :bolt:
