superchicken Posted July 5, 2005 Report Posted July 5, 2005 but you could always use the zilla for a stepping stone for a banshee.get the zilla and flip it for a banshee.thats what i would do Quote
MudSlinger09 Posted July 5, 2005 Author Report Posted July 5, 2005 (edited) thats kinda what i had planned , but who knows , maybe ill fall in love or get a banshee too my dad has been eyeing a banshee to fix up for himself Edited July 5, 2005 by MudSlinger09 Quote
bansheefreestyler Posted July 6, 2005 Report Posted July 6, 2005 i dont like those quadzillas. the one i rode vibrated alot and it was really bulky and wide. feel more like a tank then a quad to me. ugly looking things too. Quote
locogato11283 Posted July 6, 2005 Report Posted July 6, 2005 they blow head gaskets like crazy..theres a fix for them tho i think.. Quote
. Posted July 6, 2005 Report Posted July 6, 2005 they vibrate a lot because they are a single cylinder 500.....what do you expect. They are quick as shit, and sound incredibly mean........when they run. They like to come apart, but thats what you get when you have a crazy ass engine in a 4wheeler built by suzuki Oh yeah.....expect to pay an arm and a leg for parts when it breaks Quote
MudSlinger09 Posted July 6, 2005 Author Report Posted July 6, 2005 ugly looking things too. i had sex with your mom Quote

chris642 Posted July 7, 2005 Report Posted July 7, 2005 im still debatin on just gettin the yz125 at the local wheeler store here , or a yz250f .... 389485[/snapback] 125 all the way, the 250's have good power for racing, but they arnt as fun as the 125's. the 250's are expensive to keep and maintainan, too. Travis's Banshee Posted July 7, 2005 Report Posted July 7, 2005 Man go fer four wheels, not two. The 89 zilla already has the better head. The 87 was the bad year. I'd pull the mag cover and check for play. If there is any, probably going to need the bottom end looked into. Zillas are notorious for hurting the mag side crank bearing. If theres no play you should be good to go. I've owned two of them and had no problems w/either. They just need attention like any other quad. As far a feeling like a tank, They are bigger, but very stable. I'd love to have another one sitting around to play with. Quote
