crbanshee Posted May 31, 2005 Report Posted May 31, 2005 the 450 is a nice bike but its no banshee..once you get used to the comfort af the banshee the 450 feels wrong...i didnt like the seating on it you seem to be half way over the bars before you even start the bike Quote

dajogejr Posted May 31, 2005 Report Posted May 31, 2005 If you wanna moto X or ride tight trails, a good 450 yamie or Honda is hard to beat. Sure...a shee will do it, but...you have to mellow it and setup the old, old suspension, etc. Those 450s handle great out of the crate. However, if you wanna drag, dune, FAST trail ride, etc., a shee is hard to beat. It's a trade off, more routine maintenance on a shee, but it's easier and I'll even say cheaper. Less on a 4 stroke...but, it's not as easy and pricier. Pick your poison... I like riding my buddies 450Rs, I have 4 guys I ride with regularly that have 04 and 05 hondas...but, I love my shee....
