mastermarkii Posted May 2, 2005 Report Posted May 2, 2005 i was ridin, stopped to chill for a minute, then bam. i lokked down and their is a fat puddle of oil. i "putted" home, took off my so called case saver, and their was a good sized crack.. ......... so can you weld it closed or do i have to buy a whole new case? bbluebanshee Posted May 2, 2005 Report Posted May 2, 2005 Where exactly is the crack? A lot of spots can be welded up, but the motor has to be completely taken apart to do so. Find a good welder that has the apparatus to weld aluminum, and see what he(or she ) says. Quote
