Mixture ratio?

Whats a safe mixture for a pump gas Modified Shee. I use Synthetic.

I went by clymer which is 24:1 Just wondering if I should change since the Shee is modified.

I broke my engine on a petrolium based oil at 32:1. After break-in I am now running 40:1 using Maxima 927 castor oil.

i ran 40:1 on pump and run 40:1 on race now... 3 years and still running.. im on semi synthetic... i would think higher synthetic maybe more fuel per quart...

You should be smoking a litle more than normal.

24:1 is rich to me...youmust have some spy hunter smoke screen going on there... even when i had my 250r i ran castr 927 and a 35:1 mix and it still smoked a lot..

yea smokey. not bon fire smokey. but a little too smokey

she shouldnt smoke a lot... should just be a hase of smoke which means its not thick smoke but you can see through it like a poof!! .. haha ... i bet that thing gets a good smoke screen when you fire it up

lol yea . I think ill drain the tank and Change the plugs..Should 40:1 with full synthetic be ok or should I go 32:1

Forgot the brand. But its full synthetic.

i'd try bout a 32 or 35:1 ... see how that does on smoke and your plugs.. see if you have any oil left on the plug.. if so then add more gas...

 

are you running br8's or br7's es or eg.. i believe the eg runs hotter and should burn all that at 32:1
