87sheerips Posted March 22, 2005 Report Posted March 22, 2005 Im running a black T5 pipe and siencer combo right now, im thinking about switching to a chrome FmF SST pipe. what should I do, mods are in my sig. Quote
redcell43 Posted March 22, 2005 Report Posted March 22, 2005 i dont know why you would want to switch. Quote
locogato11283 Posted March 22, 2005 Report Posted March 22, 2005 what kind of riding do you do? i would keep the t5s before switching to fmf. but to really get some power id go with ROCKETS!!! Quote
sp1tekiller Posted March 22, 2005 Report Posted March 22, 2005 I would just stay with the T5's unless you want to drag, in wich I would say go with Rockets. Quote
87sheerips Posted March 22, 2005 Author Report Posted March 22, 2005 well, im talkin about trading. I have black t5s, and they r great. Im just lookin for some bling and a lil change in my setup. Will the power distribution be much different with the SSt's?? I do a lot of trail riding, and some dune riding. heres some comparisons. these are pimp559's pipes. We will possibly trade. Quote
Ducman Posted March 22, 2005 Report Posted March 22, 2005 Those look like oldschool FMF goldseries, don't SST's have SST stamped on the pipe? If thats the case then the Toomys will perform about the same, but there is still the bling difference to consider. If you have a nice black PC job on the Toomys I'd stick with those. Quote
FATBANSHEE Posted March 22, 2005 Report Posted March 22, 2005 those are definetly old school fatties... not sst's. I had both. other than the sst stamped on the side the ssts have a different stinger size/style tube that connects to the silencers. ...FAT Quote
richybanshee Posted March 22, 2005 Report Posted March 22, 2005 Rockets look awesome ... CPI's fantastic ... chrome T5's beautiful. SST's will give you more low to mid end power. T5's are great for moded shee's , Rocket's and CPI's even better. Quote
bansheefreestyler Posted March 22, 2005 Report Posted March 22, 2005 i thought sst were more of a top end pipe? Quote
sp1tekiller Posted March 22, 2005 Report Posted March 22, 2005 SST are all around kinda like fatties I guess. THose arent SST's, I have an SST in my garage for a KX250 and it says SST on it. Quote
