Your float is either stuck in a fashion that has the needle valve open, and fuel is pouring into the bowl without regulation, or the needle and/or seat is shot. You need to take the carbs off the bike, and pull tham apart and clean them with some good cleaner. If the float is sticking, I am betting that the jets can't be in too good of shape either. It's not a hard job. SHould take you about an hour to do the whole job... (for a first time...)
