05Special Posted February 13, 2005 Report Posted February 13, 2005 when you lighten a flywheel is there a notcieable difference in performance? and what does it consist of doing? any info is good info, thanks guys Quote
RNBRAD Posted February 13, 2005 Report Posted February 13, 2005 Well here's my best analogy. Take your banshee and hook a 10lb chain to the back that's about 5ft long. Ride around all day long with that dragging behind you. Then take it off, that's about what a lightened flywheel feels like. Quote

To be honest, I haven't heard any bad things about lightening your flywheel. Better throttle repsonse and revs quicker. Easily worth the money. (If you need any more info., doing a search would be a good idea) Edited February 13, 2005 by Banshee17Racing Quote
