hey guys. im selling my snowboard and a few ppl are interested in it. they want to pay me by cashiers check, or money orders. how safe is this. how likely is it that i will get screwed out of my board? thanks guys. later

Cant really go wrong with money orders. Wait till you get the money order, go cash it or whatever, then send ur board out.

money order is better since it is as good as cash, checks are fine, you just have to wait for them to clear. that usually takes a week give or take.

you get the cheque from the personel in the bank and it garantee`s you have the money in your account and the cheque wont bounce?

cashiers check puts a hold on the money in your account. Also, if you get screwed, the bank can charge it back

the cashiers check is just as good as a money order. USe postal money orders. thats what i prefer. You can tell if they have been cashed. If dude sends you a regular check, make sure it clears before you ship.

i prefer postal money orders. if you fuck a dude over and use one of those to do it, its a federal offense. so thats like an incentive to get your shit straight.
