quad4me Posted January 29, 2005 Report Posted January 29, 2005 (edited) Tell me what you would say about this plug if it came out of your Shee. IT is not a WOT test, but For general riding. I don't think its bad....but lets see what the pros think! Edited January 29, 2005 by quad4me Quote
quad4me Posted January 29, 2005 Author Report Posted January 29, 2005 (edited) this was just pulled and pictured. No cleaning. Sorry a little fuzzy...size limit sucks sometimes. Edited January 29, 2005 by quad4me Quote
Machwon Posted January 29, 2005 Report Posted January 29, 2005 Yea, plugs are hard to read from pictures and preferably done at WOT. Otherwise I would call that plug as running rich as it hais a wet glossy black look and no apparent brown or dull finish colors. Quote
05bansh Posted January 30, 2005 Report Posted January 30, 2005 Its hard to tell without a plug chop being done and being ran at wot. Quote
RNBRAD Posted January 30, 2005 Report Posted January 30, 2005 For a 2 stroke, the plug is a little lean if anything. Not saying that you checked it correctly but that's what it reads. If this is a 4 stroke plug, it's perfect. Quote

banshee76179 Posted January 30, 2005 Report Posted January 30, 2005 Is this a new plug? or have U had it in there for a while...Doesn't look like its been in there for a while to me.. If it has U r lean ..just my oppinion.. Quote
quad4me Posted January 30, 2005 Author Report Posted January 30, 2005 these have been in for a good bit. Found out I am not runnin lean. Maybe a bit fat on the low end..then seems great through the mid to WOT. The overheating seem only to happen in tight slower trails.....my new riding hole is nice and big, and i had NO problems with the Spitting coolant. I will just keep riding...so far so good! Thanks all! Quote
Machwon Posted February 1, 2005 Report Posted February 1, 2005 (edited) I tried to attach my plug but my computer is screwed right now (Windows 98 issues). Time for a new one. I'll post my plug later if interests, but is has a dull finish (no gloss or shine), brown porcelan in the middle, slowing turning from brown to flat black along the electrode hook. Justintoxicated Posted February 1, 2005 Report Posted February 1, 2005 (edited) could be rich, could be lean. How long did you run the plug? Also We cannot see a good shot of the Electrode Arm or the base of the porclin. Looks to me like a new plug you ran for a little while and it could be rich. I'm not sure why everyone thinks it looks lean since we obviously cannot see any of the key areas. Edited February 1, 2005 by Justintoxicated Quote
quad4me Posted February 1, 2005 Author Report Posted February 1, 2005 I have been doing alot of testing on this thing. These plugs have about 6-7 hours on them i think. They are just general riding....I have yet to get a WOT test in...short road in a small neighborhood. I seem to be a little tiny bit on rich side, but i did put the snorkle back on. I have a few more things I want to try..then I might need to jet. The only time it seems to spit coolant is when I am going trough a slow tight trail. Any kind of speed riding...im fine. So....I think things will be fine..so long as it keeps performing as it has so far. thank you everone! Quote
