Proquad101 Posted January 25, 2005 Report Posted January 25, 2005 A friend brought me his 98 Polaris magnum and it has no spark. I tried doing what the manual said and everything seems to check ok. If anybody has any words of advise on this please help. Quote
PUSH THE THROTTLE Posted January 25, 2005 Report Posted January 25, 2005 Does the battery have power? Will it crank over? Have you tried a new plug? The more info you have the better it is. Quote
Proquad101 Posted January 25, 2005 Author Report Posted January 25, 2005 The battery has plenty of power, I put a new plug in the cap, I got my multi meter and I have nothing coming from the coil or going to to the coil. The book said to ohm out the wires on the stator and now I'm not getting anything from 2 of them. Has anybody ever changed the stator on these bikes. Quote
BigRed350x Posted January 26, 2005 Report Posted January 26, 2005 check ebay for stators. I got one for my warrior for like $45 Quote
Wassup350 Posted January 26, 2005 Report Posted January 26, 2005 I'd go through it and make sure nothign is grounding out or no wires are disconnected first. Then replace the stator. Quote
