Well they would direct some more air over the engine but being that its not an air cooled engine I think the cooling effect would probably be less than 5 degrees. The other bikes that they make the air scoops for have a radiator at the front of the engine or are air cooled so those make sense. I dunno, I don't think the minimal amount of extra cooling is worth the geek factor on this one.

I thought of doing something like that, but not like that at all really.... more of a ramp in the front to direct moving air up to the radiator, but in all actuality, if its running that hot, its time for an electric fan.

i think alot of 250r's use something like that over here....but they direct the air into the rad and its a cool place to put stickers i think thats the main reason people have them
