All you have to do is change your gearing to compensate for the speed. A new front sprocket will make that up.

Bad thing about 18's is ground clearance. That's about it.

Good thing about 18's is weight. Your suspension should work a little better with the 18's too.

It's about one tooth per tire size so if you want to keep close to the same gearing that you have now, go up to teeth bigger in the front. If you have a 13 tooth in the front go 15 with the 18 inch tires.

If clearance is not an issue go for the 18's and play with the gears.

It depends on where you are riding. I just got rid of my 18" Holeshots for some 22" Sur traks and couldn't be more happy. That gives you another 2" of space between your rear sprocket and ground. That can be the difference between walking or riding back to the truck.

It also means I don't have to change my gearing everytime I throw on the 22" paddles.

Hmm well they also make the tire in a 20'' but on the 18 it has that super low profile and thats addicting looking.

18" feels so much better to ride on too 20" feels high im not into theat size unless its stright wood riding for me which its not so i ride 18" turfs im satisfied :D

The 18's will give a better lower center of gravity. Your cornering will beneifit and will have less tire roll in the corners..If you have no clearance issues and don't drag that much, then go for it..The 22's will hook better, but are worse in the corners...What's more important to you?? Cornering or traction?

With all that power, 18's will probably just spin and spin all the way through 6th gear. I have Fatty's and V-force reeds, and my 18's spin up to 3rd on the STREET.

If you want bling you can get 20 inch tires and 10" rims instead of the 9" rims too. The look more low profile then with the 9" rim.
