cudaz101 Posted December 13, 2004 Report Posted December 13, 2004 OK...So I am very new to the Banshee...I was told that the bike has Works Shox on it already. Looking at them they just don't look aftermarket to me..."Been Painted" Gold of all colors... So my question is...Do the Stockers on the 98' banshee or any other years have the resivoirs for each unit?? Mine have the lil resivoirs connected to each shock on the fronts...So whats the verdict?? Or do I have to snap shots of the shox I got... TIA Brad Quote
superchicken Posted December 13, 2004 Report Posted December 13, 2004 if the fronts have rezzies there deffintely after market Quote
Wallynut Posted December 13, 2004 Report Posted December 13, 2004 Take a pic and post it. The fronts could be yzf 450 shocks. Quote
cudaz101 Posted December 13, 2004 Author Report Posted December 13, 2004 These are the only shots I have hosted on the net... Brad Quote
Ryda85 Posted December 13, 2004 Report Posted December 13, 2004 definitly aftermarket....looks like works to me Quote
cudaz101 Posted December 13, 2004 Author Report Posted December 13, 2004 OK..Cool...SO then none of the stock Banshee models had the Rezz cans on the shox...This is great news...Now...To ace the stupid Gold Paint... Brad Quote
Yamahammer Posted December 13, 2004 Report Posted December 13, 2004 what is gold the shock itseld or the springd.. is it paint or anodised. Quote
Banshee17Racing Posted December 13, 2004 Report Posted December 13, 2004 They could be Works, I'm sure if they said they were Works...they probably are. But somebody definately painted the springs gold. Oh and just a little tip, your rear tires look to be on backwards, unless you knew that already. Quote

The tires are Bi-Directional Maxxis tires...They are in the SNOW & Sand Direction, the other Direction is for Mud/Dirt...We happen to have snow so that is why they are in that direction...BTW...I sell tires...haha...But yea...I see dipshits with their Paddles on backwards all the time...I can't imagine how they come to the brilliant conclusion that they work best going the wrong direction... Thanks for all the help guys...I am pretty confident that I have works shox...I think they need rebuilt and I have the number to contact to get the kit sent...So cool beans and Kudos to all...Thanks again...
