Above soap & water, what other chemicals does everyone use? What can be use to remove oils & grease with out removing paint or staining the plastics.

I just want my Shee to Shine, this way my riding buddies can see me through the dust cloud they're standing in :P

Simple Green to clean it all. Just mix a ratio of 5 parts water to 1 part Simple green and soak your quad with it. Let it set for about 5 minutes then scrub. ArmorAll Wipes for the plastics and seat when its done.

NeverDull for chrome.

Don't forget Mother's billet for the aluminum. I always take mine to the carwash after I ride. I have to use the spot free rinse or I would be drying for an hour.

I use the Walmart Super Tech or whatever it's called engine degreaser for 97 cents a can. It foams up so it stays where you spray it. Let that soak for 5-10 minutes and hose it off. Really tough baked on grease, I use cheap oven cleaner I get from the dollar store. Spray it on thick, let it set for 5-10 minutes and hose it off. DO NOT get the oven cleaner on billet aluminum OR spray painted surfaces or it WILL remove the finish or paint. It seems the factory painted surfaces are OK with the oven cleaner. I cleaned a whole Blaster frame, pipes, engine, swingarm... all the greasy stuff and I only went thru 1 can of each. Next time it needs to be cleaned will be alot easier.

Usually just bag the toomey filter & hit the car wash. Then I use some cleaning wipes on the fenders & wipe them down with a towel, wax the underside of the fenders here & there so mud & shit doesn't stick as bad & washes off much easier. Then get out the grease gun, chain lube & some paper towels for excess grease & shit.

i use my own little mix. and for this polish stuff i cant think of what its called but its in a little silver can and it feels and looks like cotton and has polish in it. it works better than any polish i have ever seen especially on pipes. i use it on my cpi's and they gleam. it lasts a long ass time. I had the same can for a year and polished it everytime i cleaned it which was at least 120 times. no joke. Its like 9 bucks and it looks like it will run out but it takes forever. your supposed to pull little chunks off the ball of cotton with polish in it and its weird cus it doesnt look like you pulled anything out. thats why it lasts so long.
